Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
I've been making my way through a bunch of books on my new Kindle, some of which I probably wouldn't normally have read. I haven't seen the movie, but the book - despite my reservations - is quite good. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter manages to weave in enough history and detail you'd almost think it's historical fiction. Despite your better judgement this book is well enough written to leave you thinking that Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of these United States, may have actually been hunting Vampires his entire life. The author, Seth Grahame-Smith, is the author of other horror/classic mash-ups like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which I haven't read -- but given how much I (suprisingly) enjoyed this retelling of Lincoln's life I might have to add them to my list.
